Small groups are the way that we as a church strive to be impacted by the gospel and God's Word in a smaller setting throughout the week. We meet Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Nursery: Nursery is available during Adult Bible School and the worship service for infants - 3 years old.
Sunday School: There is age specific Sunday School for walkers - 6th grade available during the Adult Bible School at 9am. We are currently using Generations of Grace curriculum. This is also includes weekly family devotions that parents can use throughout the week.
Worship Service: We dismiss children ages 4 - through 1st grade for children’s church during the sermon. Our passionate volunteers teach and train the children in the nature of the church, the order of service, and how to listen to God’s Word.
Adult Bible School (ABS)
Adult Bible School (ABS) is Providence's Sunday school program designed to lay the foundational truths essential for Christian life and service, preparing each person for ministry in the home, church, and community. We study different books of the Bible or themes each week as we look to equip men and women to worship, walk and work for Christ.
It is held at 9am each Sunday morning.
The men meet weekly on Friday mornings at 6:15am. We are currently studying Proverbs. If you would like more info or to be involved, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The women at Providence get together once a month on Saturday morning to fellowship and study. They are currently studying the book of James.
Women also gather weekly on Wednesday mornings. The focus is praying for our church family and committing to reading the Bible (4 chapters per day).

When the Apostle Peter was seeking to describe what it means to be a Christian, he gave us insight into God’s motive for saving a people for His own possession. In 1 Peter 2:9, Peter tells us that God has redeemed Christians “so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” We serve a magnificently gracious God who has forgiven our sins and has satisfied our souls. And because we love Him, we desire to “proclaim His excellencies” to all who will listen.
At Providence, we seek to instruct and equip members in the obedient and joyful pursuit of that Great Commission (cf. Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8) by taking the Gospel to our community. Our philosophy of ministry regarding evangelism is as follows. Biblical evangelism is:
- God-centered rather than man-centered
- Theology-driven rather than method-driven
- Discipleship-oriented rather than decision-oriented
